We now see Nick walking into Grissom's office as they talk about forensic astronomy in relevance to the case hoeing the positioning of the moon in the video & time & date will give them the location of where Maureen Masters is being held at Lake Meade,



Nick: I will never forget the things you've taught me.
Grissom: You're the best student I ever had Nick.
Grissom & Nick Scene
Meanwhile Dr Raymund Langston decides to see if he can get Nathan Haskell to reveal the location of the house at Lake Meade to him.
Unfortunately Haskell quickly guesses his ploy and end up taunting Langston telling him that they are too late and the woman is already dead.
Langston yells at the prison guards to take him away from him as Haskell kicks of yelling as he his dragged out of the room.


The camera now cuts to Grissom & Greg sat at a computer monitor as they try to work out exactly where the house is at Lake Meade,
where Maureen Masters is being held captive by the serial killer. They work out the moon's position from the video's,
against the position on two similar mountain height's on the computer to a location called Black Mesa.
Greg: Griss i want you to know how much i appreciate you putting me out in the field.
Grissom: I'm sure there were times you probably didn't.
Greg: Well it changed my life.



We next see Thomas Donaver notice movement outside on a monitor, so he pulls a gun on Maureen and is just about to shoot her
when a bullet hits him center of the forehead killing him instantly.
Then police officers rush in, Jim Brass goes to Maureen unclips some device,
then releases the woman from her binds and tries to sooth her without compromising any evidence she may have on her.


The camera then opens up on Dr Raymond Langston getting out of a squad car at the crime scene house at Black Mesa,
as Greg others & police officers are seen all around the property.
Inside Catherine, Grissom, Nick & Dr Langston take a closer look around for clues to finding the other previously killed female victims of Nathan Haskell

Grissom spots a floorboard with a small piece of the corner missing,
he prizes the board free to reveal 8 laid out skeletons, presumably the female victims of Haskell withing the floor beneath.
Now we see Dr Raymund Langston stood in the lecture hall where it all began with his helping out on the CSI serial murders.
He is quietly contemplating what has happened, then in walks Grissom who thanks him for his help on the case,
then tells him about the new CSI position opening up at the lab suggesting he considers it.


Grissom is now back in his office at the crime lab packing his things away, and as he places a Framed butterfly in a box David Hodges
comes in telling him that he feels that he should tell Grissom that he is making a big mistake (quote at the top of the page)


Grissom carries on packing then comes across a memorial card from Warrick's funeral,
he seems to remember his rock of the team fondly as a soft smile appears on his face.

Grissom takes his last slow walk down the Crime lab hallway
taking in the sights in the individual rooms seeing first Archie & Conrad Ecklie in the A/V Lab,
then Hodges possibly flirting with Wendy as they talk in the next room................

In another David Phillips, Mandy & Archie discus something oblivious to their former boss leaving........
The next one he passes by has Greg sat at a table with lab tech's all around him as he works,
another lab has Riley & Doc Robbins looking at photographs laid out on a table,
then we see Nick is concentrating as he works on a car in the garage..........

The last room Grissom sees before he leaves the LVPD Crime Lab holds his two best friends over the years, Jim Brass & Catherine, he stops briefly to observe them and Catherine looks up, smiles and winks. receiving a happy smile from Gil before he continues on his way outside the building.


After Grissom has left the lab he travels to Costa Rica where he uses a GPS to find Sara at a camp, working in the rainforest, taking pictures of a small monkey. Hearing a sound, Sara turns around and is surprised to find Grissom. They say nothing. Grissom drops his back pack to embrace and kiss Sara.Major GSR moment!
