Well unlike Man u. I didn't even get a look in when it came to what we were watching so I had to tape the episode! As I'd heard it was a let down I really was quite surprised to find it wasn't too bad at all..really the only problem was the fact that it had been built up to such a degree with the return of Natalie when actually that part was a small a very small part of an episode that had two crimes being investigated.
If TPTB had kept her being in it quiet I think the result would have been far better..Nick was hillarious reminicing and Hodges too..I felt for Catherine and they sure showed how boys never really do grow up!! Grissom was very off at the crime scene to start and that was before he'd got the letter about Natalie so I'm not sure where he was suposed to be now emotionally..the killing of the mother and injuring her daughter was I think a good idea that for some reason just didn't come off..
Natalie's story could have been improved 100% . There really was no point to the hearing or any conversation between Grissom and Natalie because it was too vague..it should have been darker and far more sinister than it was portrayed I feel . Having said all that it was better than I expected.
Man U. get to do another leg but TPTB aren't so lucky..definitely an opportunity missed...but a look at Nick's miss-spent youth and Hodges idea of friendship! worth watching.
