| Gilbert Grissom was born August 17, 1956 in Santa Monica, California. Under the Astrological sign of Leo, which is considered to be a 'Masculine' sign.  Leo is a Fire sign  The sign that is ruled by the Sun.  No siblings. Father a teacher of botany died when he was 9yrs old, Mother was rendered deaf by the genetic disorder Otosclerosis, which Gil later inherited the condition and underwent corrective surgery. A young Gil conducted autopsies on small dead animals found in the local vicinity, and with support from his strong-willed Mother developed a love of books, and became fluent in American sign language to be able to communicate with her. Gil was a 'Ghost' in high school. Academics and achievements; At 22 Grissom was the youngest coroner in the history of L.A. County, and 8 years later was headhunted to run the Field Services in LVPD Crime lab. Holding a PhD in Biology from UCLA, Grissom is one of only 15 experts in entomology in the US. He is a well-traveled doing research trips, attending work-related conventions, and lecturing on entomology. Protege of Philip Gerard. He has spent 15 years helping Las Vegas move from the number 14 to number 2 spot in Countries Crime Lab rankings. In 2000, Grissom took over as supervisor of the graveyard shift. Often considered socially inept & Politically tone deaf. Crimes involving children seem to effect him the most, but his hates crimes involving drugs and abuse also.  Grissom | Gil and Sara met during a lecture at a Forensic academy conference in San Fransisco. At start of season 1, the nature of their relationship at the time was unknown, but in the first episode of the series, Grissom defines Sara as 'A friend, someone I trust'.  In 2000, Grissom calls Sara in as an outside investigator, to discover why Warrick Brown left a crime scene, resulting in the death of CSI newbie Holly Gribbs. Sara has remained in Las Vegas ever since. Season 5 episode Nesting Dolls - saw Sara tell Grissom some of her family history; and aside from a PEAP counselor, he is the only one she has ever opened up to about her past.  While Sara has always been interested in Grissom to the point where she remembers everything he says and can quote him. Sara's pursuit of Grissom didn't really begin until she asks Grissom out to dinner, in which he turns her down because he is about to consider surgery for his deafness brought on by his Otosclerosis.  The complicated relationship of Sara and Grissom on CSI culminated in 2006, where it was revealed to the audience that Grissom and Sara were more than co-workers.  This scene takes place in a bedroom, where Gil describes how he wants to die, and Sara tells him she is not ready to say goodbye yet.  In Season 7, Sara's romantic relationship with Grissom continues, sometimes playfully, and sometimes with tension-filled moments.   Sara | Sara Sidle was born September 1972. Tomales Bay, Near San Fransisco, California. The Astrological sign of Virgo, is considered a 'feminine' sign. Virgo is a Earth sign that is ruled by Mercury. Grew up in an abusive household, with fights often occurring and trips to the hospital, which led to the culmination of her Mother stabbing her Father to death. In 1984, the California courts heard the case of "The People vs. Laura Sidle w/2" in Modesto Sara spent an undetermined time in foster homes, while her mother was in a psychiatric hospital . Sara was a 'Science geek' in high school. Academics and achievements; At 16, she gained early admission to Harvard, where she got her Bachelor's degree in Theoretical Physics; later she received her Masters from UC Berkley (official biography). After college, Sara moved to San Francisco and worked in the Coroners Office. In 2000 she take the offered CSI level 3 job at LVPD Crime lab. Is often referred to as very private and an introvert. Crimes involving Rape and domestic abuse affect her the most and she has been known to attack a suspect of these crimes.  Romance |
In the season 7 final episode , the truth finally came out about Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle's relationship when Sara was abducted by the Miniature Killer, Natalie Davis. At the end of the episode, Sara is seen under a car, her arm reaching out. She is still alive when the episode ends with
'To Be Continued.'

In the Season 8 first episode, we find that Sara lives! After she wakes up in a helicopter on her way to the hospital, after passing out in the desert, opening her eyes, she sees Grissom watching over her.
In the episode Good Bye and Good Luck, Sara says good bye to Grissom with a kiss and a letter and leaves Las Vegas.
Grissom tells Jim Brass that Sara is visiting her Mother, where she is in San Francisco, an is possibly in prison for killing Sara's father (this has not been confirmed at present).
Jorja Fox/Sara Sidle is rumored to be coming back to the show as a guest star though for possibly season 9.

After watching Family Affair and seeing Sara return without her new husband, I must say I find it very odd Sara would return to the job she mentally and emotionally could no longer deal with and without Grissom. The writers seem to be contracting themselves slightly. Would you leave hot Grissom in the romantic city of Paris? I sure the hell wouldn't lol. Am I the only one who feels this way?? What are your thoughts?

Triangle hinted at in season 9 episode 913 Deep fried & minty fresh? who could the love triangle possibly involve? or perhaps they may be hinting at a future case, or someones past experience?

Does anyone else think that they may already be married? After the proposal scene they both seemed rather distracted in their next scenes. Even Hodges commented on Sara looking "Happy". And Griss was off in Dreamland when Catherine brought the cooler of fish to him. Never seen THAT before! I don't know, but after Sara's "Let's do it!", I got to thinking maybe they did just that!
