Rattle the Cage Productions is a video production group who raises awareness about animal and environmental protection issues. As this is a matter close to Jorja's heart, who can be surprised to find out that she's volunteering?

Jorja Fox, who plays Sara Sidle on the hit TV show CSI, is commited to helping animals and wildlife and is a big supporter of Rattle the Cage. As executive producer on our new documentary series, BLACK MARKET: inside the endangered species trade Jorja feels we can enlighten, educate, and eventually eradicate the crimes against nature in Asia's jungles.

Skin Trade" takes the viewer on a journey form the birth of fur used for trading between Native Americans and Europeans,
to the exploitation of animals and fur for fashion.
The film delves into the corruption and lies perpetrated by fashion designers that claim their fur designs are eco-friendly"
as well as those retailers and fur farmers who claim that the animals are killed humanely.

"Puppy mills are places where, all they do, month after month, year after year, is breed dogs to sell to pet stores. And most of these dogs are kept in very, very cramped cages their entire lives, they never see the sun, they usually have diseases, they have one job that they do. And, of course, because they're dogs, they do it really well." Thankfully, people are trying to make the rest of the world more aware of this. Jorja and many other stars went to the benefit to educate people and hopefully get the word out

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) is currently working with Animal Defenders International (ADI). The non-profit organization is promoting a campaign called "Stop Circus Suffering". They are working to urge Texas to ban circuses with animal performers, and they have presented the Austin City Council with their evidence of animal cruelty. "We sent Jorja an advance copy of our DVD and report and told her what was happening to the animals. She was really concerned. It really moved her, and she said she wanted to do whatever she could to help," ADI President Jan Creamer told Celebrity news service. "She's a very compassionate person. What we really appreciate about her is that she is using her celebrity for good causes." "These animals are majestic, wild, large mammals," Fox told the American statesman. "They're some of the great beasts of the world." The actress went on to say, "It's pretty much a no-brain-er that while circuses may have had their time and place in the world ... this is, and should be, in the past."
