1 - Grissom proposes to Sara, and she accepts.
He initiates a kiss, but they can't because they both have their bee keeping hats on.
2 - Grissom is supposed to be farsighted requiring him to wear glasses

We find out that Grissom has a dog named Hank
We also see him looking concerned for Sara as she struggles with the case she is investigating.
Episode 8.07 Goodbye & Good Luck
Grissom appears to be very concerned at the way Sara's case with Hannah & Marlon is going as he watches Sara interview Hannah, and the girl smugly baits Sara. He tells Sara he is worried about her.
He is later shocked and a little bewildered as he reads Sara's heartfelt goodbye letter to him, which tells him Sara has left Vegas.
Episode 8.08 You Kill me
Grissom reveals to Brass that Sara is visiting her mother in San Fransisco, then tells Catherine he wants Sara to be happy. He seems very uncomfortable with some members of the lab trying to console him and support him with Sara leaving the lab.
