Jorja & Friends of HoneyPot Productions

Honeypot Productions is an independent theater company in Los Angeles. Jorja Fox and many of her friends are the founders, and through the company they write, produce and star in many of their own works. According to what she said a TV Guide interview, HoneyPot was formed in either 1998 or 1999; she met fellow Honeypot members Katherine Kendall and Suzanne Mara during the filming of Food for the heart in 1998. Most of their plays are performed in small community theaters (or, as they've said, "in people's backyards"); Dear Bernard is their first play for a major theater audience.

Dear Bernard

Dear Bernard tells the story of an English girl coming to the US in the early 1970s, who becomes wrapped up in the world of flashing lights and finds herself awash in a world of glamour. This particular track comes towards the end of the show, when she's looking back on everything that she's become and gain and lost during her rise to the top.

Dusty Springfield’s ‘Dusty in Memphis’ The whole album. I can’t get enough of it.

Do you have a dream project?:
I have two. I’m doing one right now. I’m producing a musical about the life and music of Dusty Springfield called “Stay Forever” in Los Angeles at the Renberg theater. It opens February 7th and I’m really proud of it. If you like Dusty’s music, you will love this show.The second one is a script I wrote a few years back about ARMY nurses serving in Vietnam in 1967. I’d love to act in that one. No singing required.

"I don't know if I have a lot in common with Dusty Springfield but she certainly is one of my heroes and mentors," Fox told the Lesbian News.

"She kind of stood up and did what she did and hoped that people would enjoy the music," Fox added. "She had great business sense. She took a hold of her career and took the risks to steer it."

Jorja Fox Rumor!....

yep it's unlike me to report on a rumor but i have seen one concerning Jorja on two message boards which state that Jorja's Honeypot productions play 'Dear Bernard' is to play in London England in March of this year, and Jorja is rumored to be attending possibly.
Firstly Dear Bernard was supposed to be playing at the Hammersmith theater, London in July 2006 but was cancelled due to financial problems. Also if Jorja were to attend the play in London in March this year for the play it would also coincide with Grissom leaving in CSI 9.10 One to go and the huge GSR reunion as it airs for the first time in the UK on channel 5! possible TV interviews, magazine interviews or chat shows perhaps???????
