Jorja quoting on her relationship with William Petersen
I sit every once in a while and I think about plays and films I can do with William Petersen into our eighties. He's the most incredible scene partner I've ever had. And again, I've never had the opportunity to work with somebody for seven years like that. It's a really unique experience as an actor to have a scene partner for that long. And then at the end of the seven years to think more highly of them than you did in the first year, to find them even more complex and interesting…. He's a great friend and I feel like I couldn't have scored any higher than getting William Petersen to be my boyfriend on TV. It's been amazing.

Jorja quoting on the Grissom Sara romance
After we dropped the proverbial bomb at the end of last season [six], we decided to just let it breathe a little bit – sort of like, ‘well now you know, and here's what it looks like.’ It was a great first half of the year for them – it was very pleasant and there wasn't a lot of tension, we just wanted the dust to settle. From here on out, there's going to be some interesting stuff that takes place between the two of them and I was really excited about it. And I kind of decided at the beginning of the year that, even though I was under the umbrella ofCSI - I, personally, was in a romantic comedy

Raised on a narrow barrier island, Fox has a deep affinity for all things oceanic, big skies and Jimmy Buffet. Fox began her acting career at the age of five when she landed the coveted role of the 'Rooster' in the children's classic "Chicken Little ." Fox attended Hoover Junior High in Indialantic, Florida.

After winning a modeling contest at the age of sixteen, she returned to New York City to pursue her dream. Fox debuted in an independent Jorja Fox - Home to the GSR Addictfilm noire called The Kill Off , adapted from a Jim Thompson novel, and was accepted to the Sundance Film Festival. Next, Fox landed a role in "Summer Stories: The Mall ," directed by Jon Rubenstein for ABC. The success of this anniversary production propelled Fox towards a successful television career. Since then, she has acted in three television series; the acclaimed "Missing Persons " and the hit NBC shows "E.R. " and "The West Wing ".
Her television pilots include work for HBO, CBS, UPN, and directors; Amy Heckerling, Tom Fontana, and Barry Levinson. Jorja is also proud to have been on the "Ellen" show's "Puppy" episode, commonly referred to as the "coming out" episode. Jorja Fox has enjoyed moderate success with independent films and her credits include performances in: How to Make the Cruelest Month, Food for the Heart, Forever Fabulous, and Memento, a dark suspense-mystery with Guy Pierce and Carrie
Jorja Fox - Home to the GSR Addict Anne-Moss. Fox jumped at the chance to contribute to Velocity Trap. "How could anyone turn down the chance to play a machine-gun-toting villain." She co-starred in an experimental film called Down With the Joneses. Fox will also be in the upcoming film Next Exit.
Fox also writes plays and screenplays. She is the co-founder of Honeypot Productions, an independent avant garde theater company. Honeypot has mounted four plays, some of them written by Fox. The fourth, which Fox also wrote, was "Loving Stanley ", a comedic romp
about the women's bowling circuit.
Her real name is Jorja-An Fox. There were conflicting reports that until 1996 she was acting under the 'pseudonym' of Jorjan Fox, and after being on ER , she decided she wanted her name back. While she changed her name to Jorja Fox after being on ER for two episodes, the reasons are unknown as of yet. It remains entirely possible that Jorjan was a stage name. Currently, she is known as Jorja Fox professionally.
Since 1996, Fox has lived in LA. She still keeps a place in New York City's West Village. While living in LA, Fox has shopped an original screenplay in Los Angeles while writing her next feature film project. She loves travel, dance, music, wild places and adventure of almost any variety. Apparently she sings, but poorly enough
that her parents suggested she be an actor instead. Currently she is cast as Sara Sidle in the CBS crime/drama "C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigators ". From doctors to beauty queens, drug addicts to young moms, Jorja works tirelessly at conveying humanness, binding the qualities that make people so unique and so unquestionably united.
