Corinne Marrinan co-wrote the teleplay for the latest episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,'Better off dead'. The staff writer recently lent her talents to the Daily Mail by penning a short CSI story with a Christmas theme. You can read the first part of the story, which features Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) and Nick Stokes (George Eads), on the Daily Mail website (banner image above). CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s leading man Laurence Fishburne (Dr Ray Langston) has been Cast in the upcoming Predators movie. Fishburne plays a character named Noland, but nothing else has been revealed about the role so far. My best friend studies the law at the Sorbonne and he called me 10 min ago to tell me that he has to change the street because there was a big set with a lot of truck because there were filming in front of the university.... He didn't see any cbs or csi sign but he said that he might be an american set because it was pretty big.

I might assist at the french tv show the 16th december when WP will be the guest of this very famous french show ...
Anyway ... one of my friend who actually live in Paris and studies at The Sorbonne is almost sure that he saw an "alliance" logo so ... !!! and this is where they were filming this morning :

3rd October - George Eads announces Engagement on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson

Eads announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Monika Casey during the taping of the Late Late Show episode.
The pair grew closer while Eads was dealing with medical problems over the summer. (No date has been fixed for the wedding)
(As CSI Files previously reported, Eads suffered from a herniated disc and underwent surgery.)

22nd May 2009 - gsrbritfan - CSI Moved from US prime time slot of 9pm

CSI recently wrapped up its ninth season in front of 14.41 million total viewers. An enviably large crowd, make no mistake, but one 19 percent smaller than tuned in for the Season 8 closer. Rubbing salt in the wound, Fox said this week that they had moved Fringe to Thursdays-at-9 because, among other reasons, CSI and Grey's Anatomy were both sliding and "not consuming all the oxygen" the time slot has to offer.

A crew of officers at an armored transport security firm risk their lives when they embark on the ultimate heist….against their own company. Crime Scene Investigation A big screen version of the series has long been rumoured, but Petersen confirmed it in his latest interview.

"Yes, there will be a movie. I can understand people are a little trepidatious because of the franchise around the world and how well it's doing. Usually people leave it until a series has finished - they did that with the X-Files and Sex and the City. But it's about finding the right story - there has got to be a real reason to do it. You don't just do it because you want to make money - you do it because there's a story that can't be told on TV and needs to be told from CSI's perspective and the audience wants it. And we can't wait for CSI to end or Grissom will be about 90," he told the Radio Times.

Petersen previously said that the prospective of a film outing was the reason why his character was not killed off

Stacy Oristano who has appeared as character Mindy Collette in Friday Night Lights.

Friday Night Lights' Stacey Oristano will appear in an upcoming episode of CSI. "I had the most fun on that show, with the people on CSI," the actress told Cinema Blend. "I get to play the killer, and she-- well she's not actually a bad girl; she's just pretty stupid. It was so much fun getting down and dirty and dragging dead bodies, and there's a huge fight. My God, it was so much fun."

CSI came in 11th on Forbes.com's list of "TV's 15 Biggest Moneymakers". According to the site, an average episode of CSI brings in $4.2 million in revenue. The average cost of a 30-second ad is $201,000.

Hello everybody, I finally, was able to muster this photo out of tptb at CBS. The presentation happened with very little fanfare and was a complete surprise to me the day that it actually did happen. I'm so sorry it's so long in coming and I wanted to thank all of you so very much for your endurance, support, utter coolness, and gigantic generosity in making the CASA donation possible.
We picked CASA because Sara Sidle was a foster kid. It was Carol M's idea and I thought it was a perfect place to land all the wishes and hopes from all of you on Sara's behalf.
As a side note it was the day of that, for now, last scene between Sara and Grissom tucked away in the Costa Rican rain forest.........Very fitting although I wish some of you had been there to give over that literally enormous check. 4th March - gsrbritfan - Anthony Zuiker is going to produce crime novels with a twist.



These "digi-novels" combine traditional reading with multimedia elements. Every five chapters, readers will be given a code to access online content. It has been announced that Zuiker is partnering with the social entertainment company EQAL to create www.darkchronicles.com

Dark Chronicles, the first of Zuiker's digi-novels, will be published September 8, 2009. The book will consist of 100 chapters, prompting readers to view a total of 20 online "cyber bridges". The cyber bridges include videos, audio files and pictures that can be viewed once a reader registers and enters the code provided. All of the cyber bridges were written, produced and directed by Zuiker. EQAL will run www.darkchronicles.com and update the site daily with novel information, behind-the-scenes footage and bonus material for Dark Chronicles. The social network on the site will allow fans to interact with one another.

Miles Beckett said in a press release. "A Web site dedicated to Dark Chronicles is a great way to further engage readers by offering additional content and an interactive experience. EQAL is thrilled to be working with Anthony to expand his fan base online." Zuiker said, "EQAL is the ideal partner for the debut of the 'digi-novel'. CBS has ordered a pilot presentation of Missing You, a reality series that follows a team of investigators as they try to solve actual missing persons cases. If Missing You gets picked up, it will add to the CBS roster of crime shows which already includes the CSI franchise.

[...] Viacom and CBS reportedly have a [...] project in the works produced by CSI star Jorja Fox and based on the live stage show Stay Forever: The Life and Music [of Dusty Springfield], written by and starring Kirsten Holly Smith. (Fox produced the stage show at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center’s Renberg Theater.)
